Welcome to our Macaoimh section!
Our Macaoimh/Cubscout section is for Boys and Girls aged from nine to eleven and it's a great way to make loads of new friends and have lots of fun too!
Macaoimh meet once a week in our scout hall but that's not all! They also have a very busy programme including hiking, swimming, camping, trips to the cinema and bowling, chess and draughts competitions, quizzes, indoor soccer etc. For more info email [email protected] or call to the hall on Wednesdays at 6:30

County Hike 2017
On Sunday April 2nd 20 members of our cub group attended the annual county hike, which this year was to Killarney National Park and Torc Waterfall. A beautiful sunny morning allowed for a lovely walk. Cubs from all over the county attended and there was a great fun was had by all. the chants of the group could be heard as they hiked along. Well done to all who completed this 12km route.

Our Recent Trip to HawlBowline Naval Base
Our Cub Group recently had a very enjoyable visit to the Naval Base at Hawlbowline. The cubs enjoyed a tour of the base and its facilities and particularly enjoyed the the trip on a launch around the harbour. Thank you to all who made this a memorable experience. |

Please remember that in order to continue with Badge Work, Books should be brought to the meetings each week. Uniforms should also be worn.
County Hike to Kilarney
Our Group will be travelling to Killarney for our county hike on April 2nd. Boys will be laeaving by bus from Frankfield church at 8:30am and cn be collected from there again at 4:30
County Quiz
Well done to our Quiz team who took part in the County Quiz in Carrigaline recently. An enjoyable night was had by all.
