Dear Parents/Guardians,
The arrangements for our trip to Kilcully are as follows:
For those members who are attending for Friday and Saturday night: (Macaoimhs & Scouts)
-Friday June 16th: Assemble at Kilcully Scout Centre at 7pm . Set Up Camp. Indoor and outdoor Activities.
-Saturday June 17th: Breakfast. Then, go by bus to Glen Resource Centre. Activities until 4pm. Back to Kilcully Campsite where there will be games, a BBQ and campfire.
-Sunday June 18th: Breakfast followed by Treasure Hunt. All Scouts can be collected from Kilcully at 1pm.
For those members who are attending Saturday night only: (Beavers)
-Saturday June 17th: Meet at the Glen Resource Centre on 9:45am for activities until 4pm. Then, we will go by bus to Kilcully Campsite where they will join others for games and the BBQ.
-Sunday June 18th: Breakfast followed by Treasure Hunt. All scouts can be collected from Kilcully at 1pm.
Equipment List (Uniforms are not required but neckerchiefs must be worn)

- Coat and rain gear.
- Warm sweatshirt/Hoodie.
- Sun Screen and hat.
- 3 complete changes of clothes.
- Washbag (tooth brush, tooth paste soap etc) and Towel
- Pyjamas.
- Sleeping bag and pillow (optional)
- Cutlery;(Cup,Bowel,Plate,Knife,Fork,Spoon,Tea Towel).
- Torch and Black Plastic bag for wet/dirty clothes.
Notes:
- Any balance of fee owed must be paid prior to event.
- Parents must be available, or provide the number of an appointed person should the need arise that your son needs to be collected.
- If your son should require any medication, please place it in an envelope with your son’s name and instructions for administration written on the front. Please then hand this to your son’s leader.
- If your son has any special dietary requirements please advise one of the leaders of same.
- The cubs theme for Friday Night is “Pirates of the Caribbean”. Cubs should bring a costume for this. There will be a prize for the best costume.
